Placed within the heart of South Yarra, Hope Street is an elevated inner-city residence shaped by restraint, proportion and quiet luxury. The project was approached as more than a refurbishment, with ALESI Group reimagining the home through a disciplined architectural lens to create a residence that feels refined, grounded and enduring. Throughout the home, a polished neutral palette establishes a calm and cohesive atmosphere. Soft beige tones, warm stone and muted finishes work together to create a sense of balance, allowing texture, light and form to define the experience of each space.

A refined inner-city South Yarra residence, elevated through restrained design, polished neutrals and considered materiality.
The kitchen forms a central architectural moment within the residence. Anchored by richly toned stone across the benchtop and splashback, the space introduces depth and presence while maintaining a restrained elegance. Natural veining brings quiet movement against understated cabinetry, while crisp joinery lines and integrated detailing allow the kitchen to feel sculptural, functional and timeless.
Within the living and dining areas, the home’s original proportions are respected and enhanced. Herringbone timber flooring introduces warmth and rhythm, while refined ceiling detailing adds softness and architectural interest. Together, these elements create a sense of permanence and sophistication, balancing classic inner-city character with contemporary liveability.
